Placement plays a vital role in shaping the career and professional life of the students through a systematic and structured sustained approach that launches our students onto a meaningful career path. Our placement cell is assisted by a team of faculty coordinators from all department working in tandem with the placement cell and industry experts to help students develop productivity and employability. Career guidance sessions from our faculty and industry experts help students make informed choices regarding their careers. At CASC, we have robust connections with a host of recruiters from various sectors, from niche categories, to enhance the employment prospects of our students.

No wind is favorable if the destination port is unknown. Understanding the importance of using the right knowledge, skill-set and aptitude for the right assignment, the Placement Office lays a great deal of emphasis on giving corporate and students the choice of mutual selection.

Responsible for identifying the right student-organization fit, the Placement Office selects targets and invites organizations to the campus for placements.

The entire placement activity is coordinated by the Placement Office, which is the main interface between the corporate world and CASC.  Student Empowerment is a key feature of life at CASC. Placement Office is an integral part of the institute, seeks to identify the best student for the opportunity provided by a prospective employer.

Some of the focused activities are:

  • Career counseling by faculty and trained professionals in different functional areas.
  • A structured Personality Development Programme, wherein interviewing skills are imbibed by trainers and corporate alike.
  • An effective way of creating awareness about companies among students is to provide information.
  • Internships are an integral part of the academic curriculum at CASC. Both summer and Full Time Internships with organizations provide students with basic understanding of the companies operations; this ultimately enhances the adaptability of students at large.

Training and Development

CASC has established a full- edged and highly dynamic, Centre for Training & Placement, which is been actively taken up the task for training and development the students by experts from academic and corporate leads and then placing them in good organizations such as Infosys, TCS, Cognizant etc., The CASC conducts campus recruitment drives regularly by inviting leading companies. We at CASC have realized the need of urgent demand from corporate to improve the employability skills of fresh graduates. After discussing with various HR leaders across the industry we have come out with a structured employability skills enhancement program targeting the demands of the corporate by a professional training company.

The CASC Placement Cell organizes career guidance programmes for all the students starting from first year. The cell arranges training programmes like Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, Communication Skills workshop etc and it also organizes public sector Exam training for students who are interested to join Government Sectors. The college invites HR Managers from different industries to conduct training programmes for first year students from the beginning of their studies in CASC with the help of industries which are in collaboration with Cheran Group of Institutions.
