There are 3 Computer labs in the CASC college premises with 120 terminals for Science and Humanities students with good Internet facilities for the students and teachers. These labs are also equipped with modern teaching aids such as LCD Projectors and audio visual equipment’s. The institution aim to make all its students to be conversant with modern learning aids. The entire college campus is Wi-Fi enabled.

Cafeteria

The new furnished canteen is the hub of out-of-class discussions and exchange of information. It provides snacks, drinks and lunch at moderate rates for both faculty and students.  At CASC, the cafeteria menu will be planned by the assigned team of college council and instructions will be given to the contractor by the head of the institution.  The contract of the canteen will be renewed every year by the canteen monitoring committee. The periodical meeting will be conducted by the team of council and contractor along with the student’s representatives of the college, in order to appraise the function of the Canteen.  The committee takes feedback, suggestions, complaints, and problems of the food consumers are taken into consideration. In CASC, two common places for dining facility (cafeteria facility) shall be provided in the campus for day- scholars, hostellers, guests of the college, teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution. The college administration is fully committed to keep the quality of food served in the canteen for the utmost benefit of all concerned.

Hostel

The Cherraan’s Arts Science College provides hostel facility for the students which will accommodate the students wishing to reside in the hostels. Each hostel is an independent unit in respects to its internal administration under the overall supervision of council of wardens and the hostel management under the authority and control of Principal. The hostels are located in the college campus and have a separate hostel office and mess within the hostel premises. The hostel dining system has a centralized modern kitchen and a separate dining hall for men and women.

The hostel facility in the college creates a home away from home for every student. We have separate hostels for the boys and girls. The hostels are equipped with several amenities like indoor games, reading rooms, recreation rooms etc. These facilities are available inside the college campus and are governed by the hostel council.  It has spacious, ventilated and furnished rooms for the comfortable stay of hostel students. Mega dining halls and kitchen with good cooking and serving facilities. Round the clock Water Supply, Medical Care & Uninterrupted Power Supply by mega generators.

Almost entire hostel is placed and most of them have more than one job in their hands of their choice. The environment in the hostel is very conductive for placement preparations. Each and every hosteller co-operates in the placement activities by helping each other. The group studies give every hostility a very good opportunity to improve themselves in the areas in which they lack.   Strict discipline is maintained inside the hostels. Girl students are permitted to leave the campus only with their parents / Guardians.

Transport

• Our college facilitates ten buses for the transportation of students, staff members at an affordable cost. The transport service reduces the time in transit assisting, the student to reach the campus on time.
• The routes of the college buses determined by the transport administrator and the parents should consult to obtain the necessary details. The students are picked up and dropped in common boarding points decided by the college authorities. Students should wear their identity cards before entering into the buses.
• Students held responsible for any damage caused to the buses. Our college reserves the hygienic policy on all activities that insist on the student and staff members not to consume food inside the bus. Polite behaviour expected inside the bus during travel time. Cheran college strictly prohibits students from performing screaming or shouting inside the bus. Our institution always assures the safety of the student and staff members during the journey.
