B.Sc Visual Communication, popularly known as B.Sc Viscom is an undergraduate degree course offered in the field of mass communication. Visual Communication at Cheran College of Arts and Science is a medium to transmit ideas and information using imagery and symbols. This 3-year Bachelor’s degree can be pursued after completing HSC or equivalent from a recognized board.
We offer a comprehensive curriculum in visual communication that blends theory with hands-on experience. Our program prepares students for careers in graphic design, advertising, animation, film, and more. Our students are trained to think creatively, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively.
Our faculty members are experienced professionals with a passion for teaching. They bring real-world experience and industry connections to the classroom. In addition to lectures, students participate in group projects, workshops, and internships, which provide opportunities to apply their skills and make industry connections.
We offer state-of-the-art facilities, including computer labs with the latest software, video and sound production studios, and photography equipment. Our students have access to a wide range of resources, including online databases and academic journals, as well as a supportive community of peers and alumni.
